Dr. Thermos established STG in 1989. He is a recognized expert in complex security management and is often called upon by national news media and has appeared on NBC, CBS and ABC to provide insight into breaking news and to understand best practices in security management. Dr. Thermos holds the following degrees: Aristotelian University, Greece, Cum Laude BA in Economics (1974) Aristotelian University, Greece, College of Law, Magna Cum Laude LL.B. (1975) The Ohio State University, MA in Sociology & MA in Education (1979) Southeastern University-Capitol Law School, Ph.D. in International Law and Criminal Justice (1981). He serves on various consulting advisory boards for KABA, TYCO, Simplex/Grinnel, Securitas/Group4, American Magnetics and other industry leaders. Dr. Thermos is a frequent presenter in the national forums of NACAS, NACCU, NACUBO, and he is Homeland Security Level III accredited, and the recipient of the 2008 Bio-Medical Security Award in Massachusetts.

Education & Academic Medical Centers

The "education industry", is estimated to be between $630 and $680 billion dollars, with 7,000 major campuses. The average security system implementation is estimated at $1.2 million. Federal Housing Sector

Our Federal Housing Sector services have designed and commissioned entire sections of Boston that fall under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) management as well as other 501c3 Housing Renovations Programs. With over 200 camera systems on wireless networks in place our installations have made these settings safer and delivered management technology and tools to our clients. We have expanded our projects over the last decade to include the Digital Cities and Towns initiative deploying wireless surveillance to HUD systems nationwide. Regional clients in Northeast sector include: in Rhode Island Providence, Central Falls, Warwick, Coventry,Pawtucket; in Massachusetts, Mass Housing Boston (TDC, CORNU, BHA) .
